About Vine & Vessel Wellness
At the heart of Vine & Vessel Wellness are six values that shape my approach to whole-person health and faithful stewardship.
The Heart Behind My Work
faith.
Faith is the foundation of my life and the lens through which I approach health. I believe true wellness begins by remaining rooted in Christ, the source of life, hope, and wisdom. My work is guided by the belief that caring for our minds, bodies, and spirits is an act of faithful stewardship and gratitude for the life we've been given.
education.
Knowledge empowers lasting change. My education in psychology and naturopathic medicine taught me to think critically and ask deeper questions. Through faith, personal experience, and continued learning, I came to believe that lasting wellness is found by caring for the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. My goal is to equip you with the knowledge and confidence to faithfully steward your health.
compassion.
Every person's story is unique and deserves to be met with kindness, patience, and understanding. I strive to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and supported without judgment, because meaningful change begins with genuine human connection.
stewardship.
I believe health is not about striving for perfection but faithfully caring for the body, mind, and spirit entrusted to us by our creator. Small, intentional choices made consistently over time create lasting transformation while honoring the gift of life we've been entrusted with.
peace.
In a world filled with noise, conflicting advice, and constant pressure, I hope Vine & Vessel offers something different—a place of peace. My hope is that every interaction leaves you feeling calmer, more hopeful, and more confident in caring for the life you've been given.
Curiousity.
I believe every symptom, habit, and experience has a story worth exploring. Rather than making assumptions or rushing to conclusions, I approach each person with thoughtful questions and a desire to understand the bigger picture, recognizing that lasting wellness often begins with curiosity.
I didn't set out to become a naturopathic doctor.
Growing up in the countryside of central Minnesota, I found peace in the quiet places. Long before I understood medicine, I loved being outdoors walking through the woods, sitting by the water, and appreciating the stillness that reminded me there was beauty and purpose woven into creation. Looking back, I think those moments quietly shaped the way I would one day understand health.
When I began studying psychology, I became fascinated by the connection between the mind and the body. At the same time, I was struggling with my own health. Inflammation, chronic pain, and cystic acne left me searching for answers that went beyond simply managing symptoms. I wanted to understand why my body was struggling in the first place.
That search eventually led me to naturopathic medicine.
For the first time, I encountered an approach that asked deeper questions. Instead of viewing the body as a collection of separate systems, it recognized the remarkable way everything is connected. I learned to look beyond symptoms and consider nutrition, lifestyle, sleep, stress, relationships, environment, and the body's own ability to heal.
As I continued through naturopathic medical school, I received extensive training in the sciences while learning to think critically and investigate the root causes of illness. But over time, I also realized something was still missing.
Medicine often does an incredible job caring for the physical body, yet many people carry wounds that cannot be explained by lab results alone. Through my own experiences and a growing relationship with Christ, I came to believe that true healing involves more than physical health. We are whole people—mind, body, and spirit—and each part influences the others.
That realization changed the way I practice today.
Vine & Vessel Wellness was created from the belief that health is not simply the absence of disease. It is the faithful stewardship of the life we've been entrusted with. It is built through small, consistent choices made with wisdom, hope, and grace.
My goal has never been to have people depend on me forever.
Instead, I want to educate, encourage, and equip you to understand your body, care for your health with confidence, and build sustainable rhythms that support lasting wellness. I hope every person leaves feeling more peaceful, more hopeful, and better prepared to care for the life God has given them.
Thank you for being here. It is truly a privilege to be part of your journey.
